The Buyer is responsible for developing, managing, and strengthening our key customer-supplier base and supply chain network to support customer requirements in Malaysia.

This is a short-term contract position with the potential for conversion to a permanent role, subject to business needs and individual performance upon completion of the contract.

Job Holder’s Specifications (Must Have)

·        Proven experience with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sourcing and/or procurement roles, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry

Job scope:

Pre-requisites:

·        Assemble mechanical components into assemblies in a cleanroom.

He or she is also responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the material handling equipment. Manages duty-free inventory, prepares customs documentation (Work Order/Outgoing), and handles physical storage, receiving, and packing within bonded areas.

Duties & Responsibilities

·         Perform receiving, checking, verification, packing, and dispatch of all incoming and outgoing goods.

·         Handle LMW compliance and documentation, including preparation and submission of customs documentation, management of Work Orders (WO) and Outgoing (OG) forms, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements for duty-free goods.
