Be part of a new chapter at ERIKS as we grow our presence in the innovative, high-tech sector. We are expanding our manufacturing footprint in Malaysia with a new clean room facility in Johor (SILC, Gelang Patah), Malaysia. This is a rare opportunity to help build something from the ground up.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Handle daily logistics coordination and administrative duties with suppliers, customers, warehouse, production, and sales teams.
  • Prepare and submit customs declarations, LMW documentation, subcontracting documents, and HS code applications in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and authorities to ensure smooth shipment clearance and delivery coordination.
  • Monitor inventory, stock movements, and delivery schedules to support operational and customer requirements.
  • Track delivery performance, resolve shipment issues, and prepare related operational reports.
  • Maintain accurate logistics, customs, and inventory records, including timely data entry into ERP/SAP systems.
  • Support customs, internal, and external audits, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly LMW reporting.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives and perform ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
  • Carry out ad-hoc assignments and any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

 

Requirements & Skills:

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably with LMW exposure.
  • Familiar with Malaysian customs procedures, MITI permits, and LMW documentation requirements.
  • Knowledge of the SAP system is preferred.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires an individual who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and can coordinate between various departments and external stakeholders to ensure the efficient movement of goods and materials.
