We are looking for a Production Planner to support our manufacturing operations by coordinating production schedules, ensuring material availability, and maintaining smooth workflow between production, suppliers, and internal teams.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys planning, organising, and improving operational processes in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

·         Plan, schedule, and manage production orders to ensure timely completion.

·         Monitor and maintain stock levels of raw materials, tools, and consumables.

·         Verify work order completeness, including routing, Bill of Materials (BOM), work hours, equipment, and tooling requirements.

·         Support sales colleagues with technical and administrative queries related to production planning.

·         Manage documentation within production, including certificates and test reports.

·         Coordinate outsourcing activities with suppliers and closely monitor urgent orders.

·         Purchasing and monitoring stock levels of raw materials, tools and consumables.

·         Periodically review production order performance and implement preventive measures to improve efficiency.

·         Work closely with suppliers, production teams, and sales colleagues to ensure smooth operations and material availability.

·         Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

Job Holder’s Specifications (Must Have)

·         Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.

·         3–5 years of relevant experience in production planning, purchasing, or a related role.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.

·         Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

·         Proactive and able to contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

·         Positive team player with a willingness to learn and grow.

·         Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and targets.

·         Strong attention to detail (including the root-cause thinking) and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure.

·         Facilitate Open Dialogue and Collaborative Problem Solving.
