About the role

This full-time Procurement Executive role at ERIKS’ offers an exciting opportunity to join a leading engieering company. Based in Shah Alam, Selangor, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement and inventory management processes to ensure the efficient and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.

What you’ll be doing

  • Researching and identifying new suppliers to expand the company’s procurement network
  • Negotiating favourable terms and pricing with suppliers
  • Raising purchase orders and managing the procurement process
  • Monitoring and controlling inventory levels to meet production demands
  • Analysing procurement data and providing recommendations to improve efficiency
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to align procurement activities with business objectives
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

What we’re looking for

  • Relevant experience in a procurement or inventory management role, ideally within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Proficiency in using procurement and inventory management software such as SAP.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
